The Spanish national team will try to demonstrate beautiful football and „reward“ Costa Rica with goals in the first match of the World Cup E group.
Friendly matches
Just before the World Cup, the Spanish team defeated Jordan 3-1 in a friendly match, and earlier in September, in the UEFA Nations League, they beat Portugal 1-0, but lost to Switzerland 1-2.
Preparing for the World Cup, Costa Rica defeated Nigeria 2-0, Uzbekistan 2-1, and drew 2-2 against South Korea.
