Ivan Perišić will join the Croatian national team tomorrow for a very important match against the Canadian national team, where many things will be clarified in the fight for a spot in the playoffs.
"Tottenham" forward playing for the Canadian national team will meet his former teammate from Bayern club - Alphonso Davies.
About this match and the North American team itself, I. Perišić spoke at a press conference:
"Canada surprised us with their speed and pressure. That is the main emphasis. We have to be competitive and aggressive at this level, but there is no fear, if we are the true Croatia, everything will be fine.
"They were better than Belgium. I have played several matches with Davies, I really enjoyed playing on the left side with him. I don't know how to describe him best, he has speed, he moves easily and really made progress, the sky is his limit.
"But other Canadians are also good. I am ready to show what we can do and I hope it will succeed," - I. Perišić talked about the Canadians and his former teammate.
The match between Croatia and Canada will start at 18:00 on Sunday.
