German football legend Jurgen Klinsmann spoke very unfavorably about the Welsh team after their victory over Iran (2:0).
The former striker claimed that Iran's game is ugly, rough, and, on top of that, the players always put pressure on the referee.
"This is not a coincidence, it is done on purpose. It is part of their culture, that's how they play constantly.
"They put pressure on the main referee, the sideline referee, and the fourth referee. They help you lose concentration," said J. Klinsmann.
Iran's national team coach Carlos Queiroz gave a serious response to J. Klinsmann on social media.
"These statements about Iranian culture, the Iranian national team, and my players are a shame for football... we would like to invite you as a guest to visit our national team camp, chat with Iranian players, and learn a little bit of the history of this country.
"Despite your incomprehensible statements on BBC television, trying to diminish our achievements, sacrifices, and skills, we promise that we will not diminish or make any inappropriate conclusions about your culture, roots, or your past, we promise that you will always be welcome in our family.
At the same time, we await FIFA's decision, regarding your position as a member of the Qatar 2022 committee. Since, obviously, we hope that you will resign before visiting our camp," C. Queiroz addressed Klinsmann.
Dear Jurgen;

You took the initiative to call me Carlos, so I believe it is proper to call you Jurgen. Right?
Even not knowing me personally, you question my character with a typical prejudiced judgment of superiority.
