In the World Football Championship Group F match that took place on Sunday evening, Croatia crushed Canadian footballers with a score of 4:1.
Canada started the match excellently and already in the 2nd minute took the lead. Alphonso Davies scored with a header after a high pass from Tajon Buchanan.
However, the Croatians managed to score two goals in the first half. Andrej Kramarić equalized the score in the 36th minute, and Marko Livaja scored a goal "into the corner" in the 44th minute.
In the second half of the match, Croatian footballers added two more precise shots. In the 70th minute, the goal scorer was Andrej Kramarić, who scored his second goal, and in the 90+4 minute, Lovro Majer "punched the last nail into the opponent's coffin."
The result of these matches means that Canada no longer has a chance to reach the World Championship quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the Croatians, in order to guarantee themselves a ticket to the next stage, must not lose to the Belgians in the third group stage match.
