At the very end of the first half, German defender Antonio Rudiger sent the ball into the goal, but the goal was not counted due to a minimal offside.
The first goal of the match fell in the 62nd minute, when Alvaro Morata put Spain ahead.
After conceding the goal, the Germans tried to equalize the score and finally succeeded - in the 83rd minute, Niclas Fullkrug scored with a great shot.
Neither team managed to score any more goals during the remaining time and shared a point.
