The gambler was hoping for easy money and bet a whopping $181,482 on the Japanese national team.
The man expected that in the first match of the World Cup, the Asian football representatives who sensationally defeated the Germans would slip up and lose to the Costa Ricans, but it turned out the opposite.
The Japanese, who did not justify the 1.5 coefficient, lost 0:1 and the gambler dreaming of winning was left biting his nails.
