Croatian national team center-back Dejan Lovren commented on the fact that the Russian national team is suspended from international football tournaments.
The captain of FC Zenit Saint Petersburg stated that Russia should participate in the World Cup.
"I am angry that Russia is not in the World Cup. I have always said that sports and politics should be separate.
"Even if it's true (that Russia attacked Ukraine), Russia must have the right to play in the World Cup in any case," said the former Liverpool defender.
