Manuel Neuer still wants to play for the German national team after the second consecutive failure in the World Cup.
After the unfortunate end in Group E, the Germans are now looking towards the 2024 European Championship.
By then, M. Neuer will be 38 years old, but that does not stop the veteran from competing in international tournaments again. The Bayern player expressed his desire to continue playing for the national team.
"If I receive the call-up, then I will definitely come," - the 36-year-old goalkeeper said to the SPORT1 channel after the match.
Interestingly, yesterday M. Neuer became the goalkeeper with the most matches played in World Cup history.
The 2024 European Championship will take place in Germany.
