Australian national team striker Garang Kuol has made it to the soccer headlines.
The promising Aussie had the opportunity to show his skills in yesterday's World Cup quarter-final match against the Argentine national team and made a long-awaited achievement.
At the age of 18 years and 79 days, G. Kuol became the youngest player since the days of Pele (17 years and 249 days) to play in the World Cup knockout stages.
However, the footballer, who played from the 72nd minute, failed to score goals or make assists, and Australia lost 1:2 to the Argentinians.
