Olivier Giroud forever etched himself into the history books of the French national football team.
The striker, who scored a goal in the World Cup quarterfinal match against Poland, became the all-time leading goal scorer for France.
O. Giroud now has 52 goals for "Les Blues."
The 36-year-old veteran surpassed another legendary striker, Thierry Henry, who had scored 51 times for France.
