As reported by "Bild", officials gathered for a two-hour crisis resolution meeting, including DFB president Bernd Neuendorf and vice president Hans Joachim Watzke, who complained about the inappropriate atmosphere at the hotel in Qatar.
According to them, the footballers who brought their wives and girlfriends to the World Cup could not focus and felt like they were on vacation within the team.
However, these statements were contradicted by Germany's head coach Hansi Flick, who suggested looking elsewhere for the reasons for the fiasco.
