The coach of the Moroccan national football team, Walid Regragui, gave a great interview after Morocco became the first African team in history to reach the World Cup semi-finals.
After the match, Regragui spoke to the newspaper "A Bola" and said that before the game, he told his players to rewrite the history of the African continent.
He said: "After the Spaniards, we also managed to defeat a great team from Portugal. We gave our all, some players are still tired, but those who played are completely exhausted. This group has a great mentality.
"Before the match, I told the guys that we have to rewrite history for Africa! I am very, very proud of them".
Morocco will play against the French team in the World Cup semi-finals on December 14th.
