Criticism of A. Wenger has tired R. Domenech © EuroFootball.com

The head coach of the French national team, Raymond Domenech, preparing for the qualifying matches for the 2008 European Championship against the Lithuanian national team, also has to respond to accusations from the head coach of London, Frenchman Arsene Wenger, in the press.

"Mr. Wenger is really starting to annoy me," R. Domenech said at a press conference.

A. Wenger recently harshly criticized the coach of the French national team in the press, accusing him of forcing T. Henry, tired after a tough season, to play in all friendly matches.

"He doesn't know everything, and besides, he is certainly not the only and most important person in football," R. Domenech said. "Even Michel Platini (UEFA president) acknowledged that his statements were foolish. Wenger claimed that friendly matches in August had an impact on the player's injury in combat. However, it should be noted that after every national team match, Henry was already representing Arsenal after three days."

T. Henry injured his abdomen and thigh muscles in UEFA Champions League matches against PSV Eindhoven, so he will not play for Arsenal anymore this season.

This is not the first time R. Domenech has faced criticism from colleagues for his decisions. Last year, Chelsea's coach Jose Mourinho said that R. Domenech and Claude Makelele were treated "like a slave."
