The Argentine national team advanced to the World Cup final on Tuesday, comfortably defeating Croatia in the semi-finals.
After the victory, Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez remembered the first championship match against Saudi Arabia and said that the whole world wanted the Argentines to lose.
"I can't believe it. We lost the first match and then everything seemed to turn upside down. People doubted us. Everyone wanted us to lose. It can be said that practically the whole world was against us.
We can be happy that all of Argentina unanimously supports us," - E. Martinez spoke after the victory.
