On Friday in the Scottish city of Glasgow, the draw for the second most important club continental competition - the UEFA Cup quarterfinals, took place. Possible semifinal pairs were also revealed.
The title defending team "Sevilla" will face the only remaining English team "Tottenham" in the tournament, who have been showing good sporting form lately. Among the favorites is Bremen's "Werder" who will compete against "AZ" who promotes attacking football and eliminated "Newcastle" from the tournament on Thursday.
The first quarterfinal matches will be played on April 5th, with the second leg taking place a week later on the 12th. The semifinal matches will be held on April 20 and May 3, with the final taking place at Glasgow's "Hampden Park" stadium on May 16.
