Serbian football has lost a prominent figure.
After battling leukemia for three years, Siniša Mihajlović passed away in Anapilis.
Despite publicly announcing his diagnosis in 2019 at the age of 53, he still managed to lead the "Bologna" team at the beginning of the season.
Throughout his coaching career, the Serbian also managed teams such as "Torino", "Sporting", "Sampdoria", "Fiorentina", and "AC Milan", as well as the Serbian national team.
S. Mihajlović also had a successful career as a football player. He played for teams in Italy such as "Roma", "Lazio", "Inter", and "Sampdoria".
