The 46-year-old former footballer recently celebrated his second birthday - a Russian missile exploded near his home in Ukraine.
"Yes, it was very close to me. I would say the distance from the attack site was about 2 kilometers.
As you know, Russians target vital infrastructure and the blast wave was very strong.
"Of course, when you are in a war zone, you know that something like this can happen," said A. Shevchenko.
