According to the portal "Reuters", Morocco is very interested in becoming the hosts of the 2030 World Cup.
"We have prepared stadiums, necessary infrastructure and a national team that became popular worldwide after becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals," said an anonymous source in the Moroccan federation.
Other sources claim that Morocco could host the World Cup together with Spain and Portugal, which are geographically close. However, there are no official proposals yet.
Morocco's national football team revealed itself as one of the most prominent in the 2022 World Cup, finishing in fourth place and becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.
