The French national team was just a step away from triumphing for the second time in a row at the World Cup.
However, the Argentine team got the better of the French in the final, winning after an 11-meter penalty shootout.
After the final, French coach Didier Deschamps was asked about his future with the team, but the coach did not rush to make decisions.
"At the beginning of the year, I will have a meeting with the federation president. There we will discuss my future.
Even if we had won, I would have said the same thing. Such decisions require time," - the French coach said after the final.
