Madridthe “Real” strategist Carlo Ancelotti spared no praise for the newly crowned world champions.
In the 2022 World Cup final, Argentina defeated France after an 11-meter penalty shootout, with the main time and extra time ending in a 3-3 draw.
C. Ancelotti, who leads the Spanish champions, said on Instagram that Lionel Scaloni's men deserved this victory.
“In my opinion, Scaloni's boys deserve this trophy, especially for what they showed in the final. We saw a team that can create amazing combinations, while at the same time being able to make the most of such fantastic players as Messi, Julian Alvarez, and Angel Di Maria.
The team was fantastically dedicated and motivated. We must also not forget how Argentina bounced back from the defeat they suffered at the beginning of the World Cup and how they slowly improved and grew.
They grew step by step, creating more and more confidence and unleashing their potential, until they reached the grand final with a strong mentality. Congratulations,” wrote C. Ancelotti.
