After a unexpected loss to Morocco in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, the Portuguese national team said goodbye to head coach Fernando Santos. There are currently many speculations about who will take over the helm of the Portuguese team. It seems that recently the coach of the Dutch national team, Louis van Gaal, is also interested in this role.
In a recent radio show "3FM Serious Request in the Glass House", the Dutchman was asked about his future.
"At the moment I am retired, but if Portugal calls me - I will listen to them" - said van Gaal.
The Dutch coach left his position for the third time in his career, after the Dutch team lost to the Argentine footballers in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
