Fantastically playing goalkeepers helped their teams achieve good results and provide more than one surprise.
It was calculated that the goalkeeper who made the most saves in the list of opponents was Croatian Dominik Livakovič (25).
He outperformed Polish Wojciech Szczesny (23) and Dutchman Andries Noppert (18).
Interestingly, Argentine Emiliano Martinez, who was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the championship (7), did not make it to the top ten.
