The Argentine Football Federation decided not to stand aside, watching the dishonorable behavior of former opponents.
After winning the World Cup final, most Argentinian players and their fans "broke the chain" and triumphantly began to mock the defeated opponents in their homeland.
Particularly striking was the behavior towards the striker Kylian Mbappe, who scored a "hat-trick" in the final, receiving attention both from goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and fans wearing paper hats.
The President of the French Federation, Noel Le Graet, confirmed the actions taken:
"We have started different procedures.
Such actions (by the opponents) are very shocking, while our guys gave all their strength to achieve better results. We must support them.
In turn, I also wrote a complaint to the Argentine federation, because I think that such behavior by the opponents was abnormal and incomprehensible. They went too far, while K. Mbappe's behavior was exemplary," clarified the leader.
