One of the symbols of "Hearts" from Edinburgh, Craig Gordon, may be forced to end his professional career - on Christmas Eve, the 39-year-old goalkeeper severely injured his leg.
In the Scottish championship match against "Dundee United" (2:2), the veteran collided with opponent Steven Fletcher and suffered a broken leg.
"Hearts" coach Robbie Neilson hoped that C. Gordon would show character and continue to play football in the future.
He was immediately taken to the hospital as the injury looked serious.
