As reported by the LFF Licensing Department on Tuesday, after the appeals hearing, all NFKA "A Lyga" football clubs received licenses to participate in the 2007 championship.

After a detailed assessment of additional and adjusted documentation, the LFF Appeals Licensing Committee granted licenses to Klaipėda's "Atlantas", Vilnius' "Žalgiris", "Šiauliai", "Vilnius", "Kaunas" and Visaginas' "Inter".

In the first round of decisions, licenses were issued to Marijampolė's "Sūduva", Vilnius' "Vėtra", Kėdainiai's "Nevėžis", "Šilutė" and Panevėžys' "Ekranas".

Although Kėdainiai's "Nevėžis", which has already been relegated from the top league, had already received a license, the club confirmed that they will play in the LFF I League this year. For this reason, they will have to carry out modernization works at the central stadium in Kėdainiai.

The club which had the most doubts about participating in the "A Lyga" - Visaginas' "Inter" - chose Vilnius' "Žalgiris" stadium as their alternative "home" stadium for the upcoming season.

However, a representative of Visaginas' "Inter" confirmed to EuroFootball.com that the club does not plan to play the entire season in Vilnius: "We will play the first two matches in Vilnius at the 'Sportima' arena, where the team also trains. Later, we plan to play home matches at the Vilnius 'Žalgiris' stadium. If everything goes according to plan, the Visaginas stadium should be ready by the first week of June and the team will move there."

However, EuroFootball.com obtained a letter from Laurynas Zibolis, the representative of the LFF Licensing Department, stating that "Inter" can currently only play home matches at the Vilnius "Žalgiris" stadium, so the information about the 'Sportima' arena is not accurate."
