Daugpils was removed from the Baltic Football League for violating the principles of fair play and on Tuesday filed an appeal, in which they ask the Latvian Football Federation to be reinstated in the league. This appeal was sent to all league organizers.
The Baltic League Appeals Committee will consider the appeal by Friday and then make a decision.
As reported earlier, on March 15, the Baltic League Committee made a decision to disqualify the Daugpils club for unsporting behavior in the match against Narva "Trans". In that match, "Dinaburg" players did everything to allow as many goals as possible to be scored at the end of the match. The match ended 2-0, with goals scored in the 89th and second added time minutes.
