The Lithuanian national team continues its training camp in Palanga before the 2008 European Championship qualifying match against the French. According to the official website of the Lithuanian Football Federation, player injuries have emerged after four joint training sessions in the national team.

According to head coach Algimantas Liubinskas, there are gaps in each line: "The sporting form of some footballers is far from shining. We also have injuries that are really painful for us. Three "Hearts" players are injured - Edgaras Jankauskas, Marius Žaliūkas arrived already injured, and during yesterday's training, Saulius Mikoliūnas aggravated his ankle injury."

"The training conditions in Palanga are very good. At the moment, I think this is the best place in the whole of Lithuania, the pitch is dry, maintained every day - perfect. It's hard to describe the atmosphere in the national team right now, it can be described in one word - work-oriented," A. Liubinskas said.

On Thursday, the Lithuanian national football team will depart to Kaunas around 11 o'clock after a theoretical training session in Palanga. In Kaunas, the team plans to train at the S. Darius and S. Girėnas stadium from 18:30. The exact training location and time will be specified later.
