These days even two Spanish clubs have appointed new coaches: Jose Gonzalez took the helm, while Jose Maria Amorrortu became the new strategist. Both of these clubs finished last season in 14th and 15th positions respectively, but the reasons for changing coaches in the clubs were different.

"Albacete" had to look for a new coach after the former club strategist Cesar Ferrando took the vacated position of head coach in Madrid. Meanwhile, San Sebastiano's "Real Sociedad" after an unsuccessful season decided to dismiss former coach Reynald Denoueix.

37-year-old Jose Gonzalez, a former "Albacete" player, took over the club on July 12. Until then, he had been leading the second league club "Cadiz", which currently holds 7th place.

Fifty-year-old Jose Maria Amorrortu spent his entire coaching career within Basque clubs: he worked for ten years at Bilbao's "Athletic" club, and recently led "Eibar" club, which currently ranks 9th in the second league with three rounds to go.
