The team, which managed to stay in the top league of Spain, is strengthening for the upcoming season. Yesterday the club announced that they have signed a contract with the defender Jordi Ferron, who is the winner of the Spanish King's Cup.
The 25-year-old Spaniard, who can play as a right-back or center-back, has signed a two-year contract with "Albacete". This is the first signing for "Albacete" since the new coach Jose Gonzalez took over.
Ferron, who won silver medals at the 2000 Sydney Olympics with the Spanish Olympic team (under-21), hasn't played much this season with "Zaragoza".
Born in Barcelona, Ferron is a product of the Barcelona football school - before joining "Zaragoza", he represented the "Barcelona B" team.
