Official: J. Heitinga stays at the helm of "Ajax" for this season

Amsterdam's "Ajax" has decided to continue without looking at the coaching market and stick to the current option.

The Dutch champions announced that John Heitinga will remain in charge for the remaining part of the season, who led the team in the last matches.

In the first match under J. Heitinga's leadership, "Ajax" defeated "Excelsior" 4-0 away.

Former center back previously coached the "Ajax" youth team.

Meanwhile, the Amsterdam club was interested in the services of Zlatko Dalić and Marcelo Gallardo, but these specialists declined the job offer.
