Since last year's January, Mason Greenwood, who has been missing matches due to personal problems, received favorable news on Thursday.
Last January, the 21-year-old footballer had charges of sexual harassment and violence dropped.
M. Greenwood got into trouble with the law after his girlfriend shared photos showing injuries allegedly caused by the young footballer.
Additionally, an audio recording was leaked online where M. Greenwood allegedly tries to coerce his girlfriend into intimacy.
However, on Thursday it was reported that all charges against the "Manchester United" footballer have been dropped.
However, the club is not rushing to make conclusions and will conduct a separate investigation into M. Greenwood's behavior.
"The club is aware of the decision to drop the charges against M. Greenwood. We are ready to conduct a separate investigation into the situation before making any further decisions," the "Man Utd" statement reads.
His contract with the "Red Devils" is valid until the summer of 2025.
