The head coach of the Lithuanian national team, Algimantas Liubinskas, confirmed the team composition for today's match against France.

One of the surprises in the starting lineup is that the defensive duo will be Gediminas Paulauskas and Arūnas Klimavičius, both from Panevėžio "Ekranas", with Klimavičius making his debut for the national team.
Due to the absence of the Česnauskas brothers and Saulius Mikoliūnas, coach A. Liubinskas decided to include experienced Igoris Morinas in the lineup, while Marius Stankevičius is expected to play a similar role to that at "Brescia" and should provide security.
As predicted by EuroFootball.com and prophesized, the attacking duo will be formed by Tomas Danilevičius and Robertas Poškus, as Edgaras Jankauskas is unavailable due to injury. The national team coach, Algimantas Liubinskas, emphasized the importance of fans' support and hopes that the criticism will be objective, regardless of the outcome. The coach stated that the players are very determined, and the team atmosphere is reminiscent of the one before the match against the Italians.
