The three-month tenure of Nathano Jones at Southampton has ended.
Southampton club officially announced the dismissal of the 49-year-old Welshman from the position of head coach.
The strategist, who joined the club in November, managed to achieve only one victory in the Premier League in 3 months (defeating the Everton team 2:1). He also led the team to the semi-finals of the League Cup and won two rounds of the FA Cup.
N. Jones was also known for his unusual quotes, which were widely covered in the British press.
Southampton is currently in last place in the English Premier League and faces the threat of relegation.
