The computer game company EA paid an impressive sum to continue featuring the English Premier League in their game.

It is reported that both parties are approaching an agreement, which will bring nearly 500 million pounds to the Premier League over the next six years.

EA will release a newly renamed football simulator this fall, as their long-standing contract with FIFA has expired and could not be extended.

The new game will be called "EA Sports FC," and EA sees the Premier League as one of the most important elements for the successful development of the project.
