In the 36th minute, the “Reds” broke the deadlock. There was controversy at the hosts' goal when James Tarkowski's shot was close to target, but on the other end, Liverpool players launching a quick attack were accurate. The goal was scored by Mohamed Salah, who outsmarted Jordan Pickford.
