Pep Guardiola last week recalled an episode from the 2013-14 season, when in the battle for the Premier League title, Steven Gerrard's slip in a match against Chelsea cost Liverpool dearly.
Recalling the episode at a press conference, the Catalan spoke rather unattractively and untimely about it.
However, on Tuesday, P. Guardiola stated that he apologized to the English football legend.
"I apologized to Steven Gerrard for my unnecessary and foolish comments I made about him last time.
"I regret it, because he doesn't deserve that," - said the Manchester City strategist.
