Survey
On the official tournament website uefa.com, 56% of fans predict victory for the English club, 37% - for the Dortmund team.
Teams' current form
Recently, the Borussia team has been collecting only victories - the Bundesliga representatives won their last six matches. Edin Terzic's pupils are currently in third place in the German championship.
Chelsea will try to break the curse of draws - that's how the last three "Blues" matches ended.
Graham Potter's army cannot boast a high position in the Premier League - currently occupying only 10th place.
Coaches' comments
E. Terzic:
"In this series, we need to achieve at least one victory to advance to the next stage and it will be significantly easier to do at home, supported by 80 thousand fans.
I think everyone will be involved in achieving this goal. Of course, it wasn't easy to prepare for the upcoming match. Chelsea has lost several players and added very important footballers. So far, it is unclear what lineup their coach will choose.
Nevertheless, as always, we must first focus on our game."
G. Potter:
"The UEFA Champions League knockout matches have begun, which are like the cherry on top. We are eagerly awaiting the upcoming match and we understand what kind of test awaits us.
"Borussia" is a well-organized team that attacks confidently and demonstrates a high level of play."
Time and referee
The match will be played at 22:00 at the Dortmundo "Signal Iduna Park" arena. The match will be officiated by the Spaniard Jesus Gil.
