On Wednesday, an intriguing quarter-final match of the UEFA Champions League took place in Germany.
In the first leg of the series, "Borussia" and London's "Chelsea" faced off at the "Signal Iduna Park" stadium.
At the beginning of the match, both teams did not mark dangerous moments. In the 21st minute, the hosts tried to score the first goal, but the Englishmen managed to defend themselves.
Shortly after, S. Haller wanted to delight the local fans with a precise shot, but his struck ball did not find the back of the net.
Soon after, "Chelsea" striker J. Felix tried his luck, but he missed the goal this time, and a few minutes later the Portuguese's shot hit the crossbar.
In the 63rd minute, the only goal of the match fell. "Borussia" successfully defended against Chelsea's corner kick and K. Adeyemi, rushing for a quick attack, left no chance for Kepa - 1:0.
In the 80th minute, "Chelsea" had a great chance to equalize the score, but the ball was cleared by a "Borussia" player from the goal line.
