After playing fantastic matches in the "Anfield" stadium, the Madrid "Real" team managed to improve quite a few records.

Yesterday, Carlo Ancelotti's pupils in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals away from home crushed the "Liverpool" club 5:2.

Memorable achievements of the royal club:

- "Real" forward Karim Benzema scored a goal in the 18th consecutive Champions League season, surpassing record holder Lionel Messi;

- forward Vinicius became the youngest player since Johan Cruyff's time to score two goals at "Anfield" stadium;

- K. Benzema has already scored a record six goals against "Liverpool";

- The English club conceded five goals at home for the first time in a European tournament;

- "Real" became the first team in Champions League history to win a match by a three-goal margin, conceding two goals for the first time;

- Vinicius became the second youngest player in "Real" history to score in three consecutive Champions League matches.
