Emiliano Martinez has received international recognition.

Formerly one of the main craftsmen of Argentina's victory in the World Cup, E. Martinez was named the best FIFA goalkeeper of the year.

In the voting, the Argentine outperformed Yassine Bounou and Thibaut Courtois.

E. Martinez appeared flawlessly in the penalty shoot-out in the final against France, extending the series by saving Randal Kolo Muani's shot.
