Before yesterday's UEFA Champions League match between "Napoli" and Frankfurt "Eintracht" clubs, the streets of Naples reminded us of a battlefield.
The German team's fans, allied with Bergamo "Atalanta" supporters, clashed with local police and "Napoli" fans.
It is reported that about 300 visiting fans from the city burned police cars and attempted to seriously injure them.
In turn, Napoli fans threw stones at "Eintracht" fans' buses.
Fearing possible conflicts, Frankfurt team's fans were not allowed to enter the Champions League match.
