World vice-champions chose a new captain after Hugo Lloris ended his career in the national team.
Didier Deschamps, at a press conference before the start of the European Championship qualifiers, confirmed that Kylian Mbappe became the new captain of the French national team.
The 24-year-old forward has already worn the armband of the PSG captain multiple times.
Meanwhile, the vice-captain became longtime "Les Blues" player Antoine Griezmann.
It is important to note that Raphael Varane, who was long second in line after H. Lloris, also ended his career in the French national team.
