Wednesday, March 22 was the last day for buyers to submit their offers for "Manchester United" club.
However, everything became a very complex operation, as two main contenders did not submit their offers on time. They are still missing offers from Sir Jim Ratcliffe with INEOS and investors from Qatar, led by Sheikh Jassim.
It is announced that today the Glazer family should receive official offers from these buyers.
In February, there was also a date when potential buyers could submit their offers. Everything was extended until the month of March due to insufficiently generous offers.
In addition to J. Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim, "Manchester United" received at least eight other offers, which are not considered favorites.
Most likely, the largest of them will be Sheikh Jassim's, whose value is expected to reach 5.5 billion pounds sterling, as reported by the "Mirror" newspaper.
The decision of the Glazer family is expected to be clarified at the end of the season.
When Sheikh Jassim's group bid was sent, they received news that deadline had been extended - but no change for Qataris/INEOS: the bids will still go in, groups will use this time to fine tune. 🚨🔴 #MUFC
