The new captain of the French national team, Kylian Mbappe, assures that he fully understands his teammate Antoine Griezmann's dissatisfaction.
The 32-year-old veteran got upset when he heard coach Didier Deschamps' decision to hand over prestigious duties not to him, but to the younger PSG player.
"I've already talked to Antoine.
He's disappointed and that's understandable. I told him that in his place, I would have reacted in the same way," Mbappe said.
"A. Griezmann was perhaps the most important player in the D. Deschamps era. He has accumulated experience and if he wants to say something in the locker room, I will sit down and listen."
