On Friday night, one match of the 27th round of the German Bundesliga took place. The team that occupied the penultimate place in the league, Bielefeld's "Arminia," faced Dortmund's "Borussia." Unexpectedly, "Borussia" suffered a defeat, which led them to the 16th place, risking relegation to a lower league.

After a goalless first half, the hosts took the initiative in the 55th minute when Arturo Wichniarek's shot was saved by the Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller. A few minutes later, "Arminia" threatened again, but the powerful shot from Heiko Westermann was once again blocked by the goalkeeper.

However, despite Weidenfeller's reliable goalkeeping throughout the match, he couldn't stop Jonas Kamper's long-range shot from 20 meters in the last ten minutes of the game.

Following this victory, "Arminia" moved up two positions in the league table, while the struggling "Borussia" dropped to the 16th place, which at the end of the season means relegation to a lower league.

On Saturday, the league leaders, Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke," will travel to Munich to face the 4th placed "Bayern" team. Meanwhile, "Werder Bremen," trailing by three points from the leader, will visit "Cottbus" on the same day.
