Antonio Conte's year and a half tenure at Tottenham ended.
Tottenham officially announced that the contract was terminated by mutual agreement with the 53-year-old specialist.
The team will now be led by former A. Conte assistant Christian Stellini. Assistant coach Ryan Mason also remains on the coaching staff.
Regarding A. Conte, he had a lot of personal issues this season. In 3 months, he lost three close friends: Gian Piero Ventrone, Sinisa Mihajlovic, and Gianluca Vialli. The Italian also had a difficult gallbladder surgery and had to stay in Italy for a few weeks afterward.
The specialist was unhappy with the Tottenham management and players - this was expressed in the last press conference after the match with Southampton.
Tottenham is already looking for a new head coach for the next season. Among the main targets are Luis Enrique, Mauricio Pochettino, Roberto De Zerbi, Oliver Glasner, and Julian Nagelsmann.
