Thursday evening marked the end of the Women's Champions League quarter-final stage.
"Wolfsburg" defeated PSG with an aggregate score of 2:1.
One of the world's most prominent forwards, Alexandra Popp, put "Wolfsburg" ahead in the 20th minute of the match. Shortly after, Kadidiatou Diani equalized.
Paris team failed to find the equalizing goal and exited the Champions League.
In the other series, it went all the way to penalty kicks, where ultimately "Chelsea" defeated the women of "Lyon."
During added time in the final minute, Maren Mjelde saved the "Chelsea" team from the penalty spot. And in the series, the hero became goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, who fought thyroid cancer just 7 months ago.
In the semi-finals, "Chelsea" will face "Barcelona", while "Wolfsburg" will play against "Arsenal".
