Ansu Fati's father Bori Fati did not hesitate to criticize his son's club Barcelona in a recent interview. "If it was up to me, I would take him to another team, but Ansu wants to stay at Barcelona," ESPN said Bori to Cope.
He stated that his son deserves more playing time: "He [Ansu] doesn't want to sign a contract with another club, but I want him to succeed. As a father, I am angry."
Due to injuries and not very good form, Fati did not receive much playing time this season.
However, team coach Xavi revealed that Barcelona is not planning to sell Fati and called the 20-year-old an important member of the current Barcelona team.
