London and Ukraine national team striker Andriy Shevchenko will return to his native club Dynamo Kyiv after this season.
"We hoped that Andriy would find himself in London. We provided him with the best conditions and thought that he would need some time to show his potential. However, we cannot wait for him to start performing. After this season, A. Shevchenko will return to Dynamo Kyiv and will once again delight Ukrainians. We plan to strengthen our team with much better forwards," - the arrogant Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho spoke to the British press.
This decision was also confirmed by the current Dynamo Kyiv coach Anatoliy Demyanenko: "We have already reached an agreement with Chelsea. As soon as the English championship ends, Andriy will return to Kyiv. We believe that this is where he belongs. This decision was also warmly welcomed by the Ukraine national team coach Oleg Blokhin."
Shevchenko played for Dynamo Kyiv, which achieved significant victories in Europe from 1994-1999. The striker himself has not yet commented on this event.
