Eredivisie triumphs - surpasses Portuguese in the UEFA table

Dutch football fans are triumphant.

It has been officially announced that next season this country's league will have more spots in UEFA tournaments.

This was determined by the successful Dutch play demonstrated in Europe in recent seasons.

According to the points collected, the Netherlands have risen to the sixth place in the UEFA coefficient table, while the Portuguese league has dropped down a step.

This means that next season the "Eredivisie" will have an extra spot in the Champions and Europa League tournaments.
